The Gallery will provide a one of a kind experience for teachers and kids alike. It provides a hands-on learning environment all about pork production, combining interactive displays and viewing windows providing everyone a tour you won’t soon forget.

Upcoming Events and New Resources

"Real" Dirt on Farming Tours 2008: The P.I.G. will once again be a featured destination for Sask Pork's "Real" Dirt on Farming tour program. Grade 7 & 8 students from the Prince Albert, SK area will be touring Moose Meadow Apiaries, Sagehill Buffalo and the Pork Interpretive Gallery on May 22, 29 and June 5, 2008.

Careers: We have developed a new resource to complement the Careers display. The booklet "Careers in the Saskatchewan Pork Industry" features a variety of exciting job opportunities in the pork industry and can be ordered free of charge.

Anatomy Models: Teachers can now borrow pig and cow anatomy models to enhance biology classes. These models demonstrate the difference between a monogastric and ruminant and also show the similarities between human anatomy and pigs.
